Spark of Loves this Week

This Ice Cream.

Because it's wonderful and I will miss it.

This Moment.

Because nothing is better than a nap with your dog.

This Grapefruit.

Because it was ice cold and was a wonderful breakfast treat.

This Spider.

Because I wasn't afraid of him.

These Rabbits.

Because Skylar wanted one so bad, but I told him he would have to wait till after we moved.

This Mouse.

Because I love the colors.

This Sign.

Because it reminded me of the Pirate and Gypsy Festival.

This Star.

Because it was in grandma's garden.

This Lunch.

Because it was just like a school lunch and was yummy to my little Bean.

These Leaves.

Because they make my day every time I see them.

This Watermelon.

Because I ate it all by myself and it was wonderful!

This Skyline.

Because it was the perfect end to a perfect evening.

This Lavender.

Because I grew it and it produced a lot this season.

This Shadow.

Because it was eye-catching.

This Water Bottle.

Because it says Crystal Springs on it.

These Clouds.

Because they needed to be shared.

This Ice Cream.

Because it was enjoyed at the local ice cream parlor.

These Cups.

Because they are so colorful.

This Hermit Crab.

Because they are about to go on an adventure in two weeks. 

This Machine.

Because it was super cool and we couldn't help but play with it.

Our night of Foghat

So call us hipster parents and whatnot, but we took our kid to see Foghat live.  Okay so we've always been fans of the song Slow Ride, and one of our favorite movies is Dazed and Confused, but who knew that interest would leak over into our little Skylar-Braden.  Epic right?  Hey, better than having a kid that's a Justin Beiber fan!  Ha!  Here is a good recap of our Foghat night that was amazing!

We had a great spot in the blanketed area in the grass.  Center row and only a few feet back from the stage!

 Waiting patiently for the opening act to hit the stage.

We had ice cream and lemonade while we waited.  Perfect combination to beat the heat too! The lemonade had a whole lemon in it and was fresh squeezed. 

The opening band was a local band out of Portland, Oregon called RootJack.  You can read more about them HERE!

After the performance we were among the last people at the concert to stick around till the band came out for a meet and greet.

Skylar got his FOG hat signed by all the members.  They told him that he was one of the youngest fans they met and they were thrilled.

It was an awesome night, and even a few days after the concert we are still hearing Slow Ride being sung throughout the house.

Spark of Loves this Week

This Rice.

Because it helped save my kid's cell phone after he dropped into Dr. Pepper.

This Tea.

Because it is the best!  No really.....It's by Townshend's Tea Company; Brew Dr. Kombucha and comes in several flavors that are to die for.  And the best part, it's made right here in the state of Oregon.  Check them out HERE!

This Candy.

For being large, and delicious all in one roll.  After about the seventh one, my mouth was raw.

This Garden.

For being amazing and belonging to a good friend.  I watered her plants and flowers while her family was on vacation.  I enjoyed every minute of it too!

Because it's finally happening.  I am finally moving from Oregon to Arkansas after about five years of contemplating it.  My anxiety level is through the roof, but it will be a good change.  Check out POD for your moving needs.  They help keep everything simple.

Because it was the best, and it had a whole lemon in it.  A WHOLE LEMON!

Because when I let the water out of the sink it left this design.  I thought it was pretty darn cool.
