Spark of Loves this Week: Reward, Car, Meal, Date, Outing, Number, Fields, Restaurant, Covers, and Camera

This Reward.

Because 15/15 is pretty dang good and he deserved a reward from the local ice cream shop here in town called Lime Berry.

This Car.

Because keeping Herby alive is pretty cool.

This Meal.

Because I love chicken and dumplings, and I love Rosemary Chicken and Dumplings even more.  Recipe to come soon on the blog!

This Date.

Because this dinner date was the best!

This Outing.

Because we rocked it!

This Number.

Because my car rolled over to 150,000 and it made me sad.

These Fields.

Because I just love the fields of sheep here in the Willamette Valley.

This Restaurant.

Because Big Town Hero has the best sandwiches and I will miss them when we move.

These Covers.

Because they were given to me to protect my eyes when I tanned.  I tan about 6 times before the end of Spring just to give myself some sun and help beat the winter blues each year.

This Camera.

Because it helps me to take better photos.  And it has become "my precious."

Loving my March Brit Kit

For the past three months, January, February, and March I have subscribed to Brit+Co Brit Kits and have LOVED them!  In January, it was two crafts of all the materials needed to construct a hex bracelet and a hex necklace.  For the second craft it was a plain white card, red thread, and needles to make a stitched heart card.

Last month, for February, the kit contained Polka Dot Popcorn Party, and let me tell you, IT WAS A BLAST!  Each month I look forward to my kit because it is filled with two crafts that are, not only fun, but also useful.

Here's a few pictures of the February Brit Kit we did at our house.

The first craft was for polka dot popcorn.  It contained white chocolate candy melts, sprinkles, red hots, edible gold stars, and of course, the popcorn.  It was a blast to make and only took 5 minutes.

Aren't those edible gold stars the neatest!?  Skylar loved them!  I think they would look so pretty on plain white sugar cookies too.

The second craft was cloth napkins and paper sacks to make polka dots to go with the popcorn.  The kit contained the gold paint, pencil, napkins, and the black paper sacks needed to make this craft.  It was so much fun, I couldn't stop!

In the March kit came all the tools need to create a stylish scarf to wear for spring.

I did random shapes and designs on the scarf with the pink paint using the foam brush......

Then hung and sprayed the fabric around the pink shapes with the Tumble Dye.

Then ran it on low heat in my drier for 20 minutes.  How awesome is that?

These kits are such fun and come with different DIY projects each month.  Now I have the privilege to hold a DIY party each month with the Brit Kits sponsored by Brit+Co.  The DIY parties start mid-April and allow for a great experience to learn different techniques with DIY crafts.

You can get your own Brit Kits in your mail for just $19.99 a month!

Look for pictures from the DIY parties to come around the end of April!
