Our first part of the road trip took us along the Pacific Coast Highway, which is one of the best places to travel, in my opinion. We drove straight through to Gold Beach and we couldn't have asked for better weather.

The route we took to get to Gold Beach, Oregon along the Pacific Coast Highway.
First stop was Seal Rock.
After Seal Rock came North Bend. It's such a quaint little town.
That bridge! It's the town's eye-catcher.
We rolled into Gold Beach about 4:00 p.m. The drive was such a nice drive and we couldn't have asked for better weather. The tug boat in the picture above that sits in the Rogue River has a history.
It was such a great two days on the coast, and the weather was phenomenal!
